Radiation background

The main focus of this work is radiation background on the earth. This paper also describes all the radioactive elements present in all the early periods (during the formation of the Earth) and evaluates their contribution to the radiation background. The paper contains information about the actual material elements: (uranium) U-238, U-235, Th (thorium), K-40 (potassium) and their radioactive decay. Specifically, an important part of the paper is devoted to the discussion of radioactive radon.
