Annotation:
The content of important non-metallic and metallic elements in rocks and soils, as well as factors affecting soil depletion are discussed in the present work. The reasons for the loss of carbon, nitrogen, sulfur and phosphorus, the main elements of humus are discussed. The classification of metal elements in soil according to the ionic potential of the element is presented. The forms of metal content in soils are discussed. Determination of the toxicity status for plants and microbes in accordance with the ionic potential and the class of the metal is described.
