Transmembrane potential
Author: mariam bibilashviliAnnotation:
All cells have transmembrane potential. In nerve cells, during neural excitation, because of potential transmembrane changes, changes in the concentration of N + and K + occur on both sides of the cell membrane. This change is to excite a nearby precinct, and so on. This excitation in the form of a nerve impulse (wave) propagates along the axon and then transmits it to the nerve cell.
