Assessment of land resources in Kaspi municipality

Municipality of Kaspi is the area that is rich in natural resources. The territory does not stand out for its vast area, however, the process of obtaining mineral resources has regularly been implemented. It must be mentioned that the use of natural resources is irrational and it may be seen in land benefits. This thesis is about evaluating the land resources and its influence on the Municipality of Kaspi. The Aim of the research is to find out by the help of GIS technologies the characteristics of land sharing resources , its problems and counteractions that hampers its preservation . While working on this thesis we used GIS technologies and we have also made several field observations in the area of Kaspi. The soil chronological analyzes have made it possible to see the dynamic process and define dangers conflicts of the problem. The research revealed that the major problem for the Municipality is the malfunction of irrigation system. There has been decrease in cultural crops that is caused by ineffective agriculture and inappropriate irrigation system.
