Metal-Catalyzed Reactions based on Four Ring containing Indoloquinoxaline Systems

The study of metal-catalyzed reactions on 6-H-indolo[2,3-b]quinoxaline and its derivatives is a new word in field of heterocyclic chemistry. Accordingly, in the first stage, 9-bromo and 9-iodo substituted products were synthesized such as 9-bromo-6-H-indolo[2,3-b]quinoxaline, 9-iodo-6-H-indolo[2,3-b] quinoxaline. The next step involved the alkylation of the N-H group, specifically N-benzylation. In this way five ring containing compounds- 6-benzyl-9-bromo-indolo[2,3-b] quinoxaline and 6-benzyl-9-iodo-indolo[2,3-b]quinoxaline were synthesized. Sonogashira, Suzuki C-C cross-coupling and Ulman-type C-N bond formation reactions were conducted on these obtained compounds. The new four, five and six ring containing heterocyclic 10 compounds were synthesized, including 6-benzyl-9-phenylethynil-6H-indolo[2,3-b]quinoxaline, 3-(6H-indolo¬[2,3-b]quinoxaline-9-yl)prop-2-yn-1-acetate, 9-((trimethylsilyl)ethynyl)6H-indolo[2,3- b]quinoxaline
