A n o t a t i o n Principles of action of ultrasonography and its application in medicine George Ghonghadze The magnitude and nature of ultrasound-induced changes in biological objects depend, on the one hand, on the frequency of the ultrasound, its intensity and timing of exposure, and, on the other hand, on the structural properties of the object itself, its physicochemical properties. The impact of sound waves on the human body has both positive effects (because of these properties it is used for example in ultrasound), as well as negative effects, which is the beginning of the disruption of intracellular structures. The paper presents information about sound waves and discusses the advantages of ultrasound.
