At the present stage, the subject of active research is the identification of signal molecules involved in the integration of cells of the multicellular organisms and their use for therapeutic purposes. The thermostable protein complex (TPC) belongs to such group of molecules, which is isolated from the tissues of various organisms, the active component (low molecular weight sub fraction) of which decreases cell proliferation by inhibition transcription. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) plays an important role in maintaining the homeostasis of the central nervous system. CSF composition, which is usually constant, can be changed under certain pathologies. In this regard, it is interesting to note how the chemical composition of CSF changes during the tumor transformation of brain. The aim of the work was identification and comparative study thermostable proteins in the cerebrospinal fluid under benign tumor transformation of the human pituitary gland. Studies have shown that the CSF from patients after excision of pituitary adenomas contains the thermostable protein complex. Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis revealed that the complex does not contain a low molecular weight sub fraction (the active component). TPC from CSF is not able to inhibit cell proliferation of various tissues of adolescent rats. Conclusions: 1. The CSF of patients with pituitary adenoma contains the thermostable protein complex. 2. The TPC of CFS does not have a inhibitory effect on the proliferative activity of various tissues of adolescent rats, which is explained by the absence of a low molecular weight component in it.
