The master's thesis deals with the peculiarities of developing a conceptual model of e-commerce and on-line payment systems. International studies related to this topic and articles by well-known researchers have made it clear that this is one of the most demanded fields today. There can be many reasons for this. Exactly these reasons and factors are analyzed and evaluated in the current paper. The conceptual model of on-line payment system is also presented. It mainly consists of three components, they are: ● Card authorization ● payment gateway ● payment processor Each stage is described in detail in the text. It also shows the basic requirements and aspects that our business must meet if we want to place it online. Based on this model, an online payment system has been created, which provides optimization and digitization of the payment system forTbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State Universitys’ campus. The system uses one of the best technologies in the world, the Javascript library, by the Facebook, ReactJS and the most convenient and free tool for this scale is Firebase, backed by Google.
