Develop a management system for a complex WordPress site

In modern reality, the role of web frameworks and web-based content management systems (CMS) in general has grown significantly. This was facilitated by the great demand that exists today for Internet technologies especially due to pandemic situation. At the same time, questions arose : which technology to use and why. What resources are required, how profitable is it to invest in them, and etc. The choice to make is quite difficult, however everyone agrees that the optimal ratio of price and quality is paramount. However, web developers in most cases make the decision after conducting some analysis. The questions are mainly as follows: How experienced is the technology? Is there any good documentation, is it popular, how well the given technology is selected to assemble the prepared design, will it be safe and fast, and most importantly, whether the given technology can quickly and efficiently cope with the functional and non-functional requirements of the customer . Making a decision is difficult here too, as there are plenty of technologies available today, both in frameworks and in content management systems as well. On the basis of research and practical project implementation this work aims to present what technology should be preferred, and why. We will consider what intellectual and material resources these technologies require. On the example of WordPress CMS, that our project is based we will discuss the requirements posed and solutions provided. In the work we will present some details of the design and base architecture that we have combined in order to create a web application. The thesis reviews the features of WordPress, usage and distribution statistics, creation and development history, and finally a financial survey that will clearly show the key benefits of the selected CMS.
