The atmosphere, which is one of the major components of the Earth, is constantly changing. Such changes have become significant due to the increase of population and the growing scale of human activities. During so called industrialization period, within the last fifty years, atmospheric air pollution issue became particularly topical. Since we, humans, are responsible for much of this problem, and are, on a daily basis, experiencing the dangers posed by air pollution on each of us, everybody’s involvement in the mentioned topical issue is required. Since, caring for atmospheric air quality is associated with high costs, the aim of this work is to test suitability of an ozone budget sensor for atmospheric air analysis. Objective of the work is to determine accurately of the measurements taken by this unit. The measured values have been compared with the data from the National Environment Agency. An Alphasense’s MOS-type ozone sensor capable of continuous data recording was used in the course of the study. This study has been carried out on the SMART | AtmoSim_LAB basis.
