Water is one of the most important natural reserves in Georgia. Generally groundwater is used for drinking purposes, whereas fresh water is the prerequisite for the health. In many regions of Georgia spring or well water is used for drinking. In many cases these kinds of water have a long story of the use, but mostly there are no studies about their chemical and micro-biological composition and there is no exact information about their suitability for drinking. We aimed to investigate the composition of several spring in west of Georgia, Chemical investigation of several springs and well water in Martvili districts, Which have a long history of use and are of great interest to the population, In order to determine the chemical composition according to the defined parameters.
