Georgia has a large water resource. Water is a prerequisite for health. A big part of the population uses spring waters for drinking,which have a long history of use, however, their biological and chemical composition has not been studied, the suitability of their use for drinking is unknown. The goal of the research of our master thesis was to study the chemical composition of several drinking water in Gurjaani municipality. In the villages of Gurjaani district there are many spring waters, the chemical composition of which is not known and which are actively consumed by the local population for drinking. We examined the content of basic ions and nitrogen compounds in the water samples selected for the study. We have identified water types.
